He took care of me and my guests for my very intimate rooftop wedding reception dinner and understood the importance of moving with purpose. Him and his Sous Chef Chris provided top tier service and hospitality without being seemingly overbearing for the occasion. Of course, the food was to die for, that goes without saying. Thank you both for making my reception dinner the success it was! We’re all the talk amongst our friends!
Chef Chris was amazing and so accommodating! We had a party of 15 staying together for a weekend in Nashville and knew that would be impossible to get a reservation for. We opted for a private chef. This was my first experience with a private but absolutely loved it and would highly recommend! Food was OUTSTANDING! Chris was super chill and fit in well with our group. I highly recommend booking him for your next stay in Nashville! Our meal included shrimp and grits, Chicken and Waffles, pork nachos, and a watermelon appetizer!
Chef Chris was great! We had him come cook us dinner on the last night of a 3 night trip, and it was an excellent experience. It allowed us to relax and wind down, while enjoying a delicious meal. He was prompt and had all of the dishes out exactly when we expected. We also enjoyed talking to him and having an experience we normally wouldn’t have. I would highly recommend this for anyone going to the area!
Coming from a family with a strong culinary tradition, Chris has literally been in the kitchen since before he could walk. Working in restaurants from the age of 15, what began as a way to support himself through school became a career as he left graduate school to pursue his culinary passions. Starting with an overnight job at a small bakery in Tryon, NC the twists and turns of a life in the culinary industry has led Chris to openings in Brooklyn, Grand Rapids, Atlanta and Nashville while cooking for some of the top entertainers, athletes and just all around great people along the way.
At the end of the day, all food should tell a story- something that speaks of a time and place with more than just ingredients on the plate. Whether it’s a story about incredible local ingredients lovingly cared for, heirloom vegetables thought lost for generations or the foods and flavors from our childhood; it’s about creating an experience that means more than just sitting down for a meal.
