FOOD FIRE + KNIVES is the vision of co-owner Michael Casciello, a classically trained chef whose culinary education began at age 14. After college, Casciello attended the renowned Culinary Institute of America, where he worked alongside certified master chefs. He had a desire to bring fine dining to private homes as an on-demand service. In addition, he wanted to provide an alternative for creative and inventive chefs who wanted a better work-life balance outside of the traditional restaurant environment.
Kim Gandhi began cooking at 8 years old with a love of food driving her to experiment with her Hispanic and German heritage. She gained a BBA in Marketing and turned to the business world for much of her career. Her strong customer service background and her passion for great events that involve chefs, customers, and amazing food allows her to indulge in her love of cooking and enjoying what FFK chefs bring to the table.
Shamira is a passionate Social Media Manager and avid foodie who brings creativity and enthusiasm to every project. With 7+ years of experience in the social media management field, she is responsible for creative strategy development and implementation, content creation, optimizing campaigns, and analysis of social media performance for Food Fire + Knives.
