We had a wonderful dinner prepared by Spencer. Jack an I could relax an enjoy our family.
Chef Spencer was excellent. Extremely accommodating to all of my wife’s and children’s questions. The food was excellent. The only possible bit of constructive criticism is that the steak wasn’t as warm/hot as it should’ve been. I would definitely recommend the service and Chef Spencer. If we did it again we would have the chef come earlier as prep took longer than expected. Overall a great experience.
We booked Spencer as a birthday gift and he beyond exceeded ours and the recipients expectations. Based on reviews and the menu, we knew we would be getting tons of brownie points, but it was better than we could have imagined.
Communication with Spencer was so easy – he’s super responsive and it meant everything since I personally would not be there to make sure all went smoothly.
His menu selection was outstanding and I was told it tasted even better. Everything about this experience was more than we could have asked for. Delicious food, super personable and respectful which is a must for welcoming a stranger into your house. We could not have been happier with this and highly recommend Spencer for your next event.
FOOD FIRE + KNIVES is the vision of co-owner Michael Casciello, a classically trained chef whose culinary education began at age 14. After college, Casciello attended the renowned Culinary Institute of America, where he worked alongside certified master chefs. He had a desire to bring fine dining to private homes as an on-demand service. In addition, he wanted to provide an alternative for creative and inventive chefs who wanted a better work-life balance outside of the traditional restaurant environment.
