Greetings! I am an Afro-Latina chef born and raised in NYC. I grew up in a multicultural home which meant no two days looked the same at our dining room table. I grew up enjoying and cooking Spanish, Italian, and Caribbean cuisines. I graduated from The Culinary Institute of America where I gained an Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts and Occupational Studies. During my ventures at the CIA, I focused my studies on International global cuisines and cooking methods. That’s where I grew a new found love for fresh Mediterranean cuisines from Greece to Lebanon. Upon my departure from culinary school, I worked in various NYC fine dining restaurants. Cooking cuisines ranging from Mediterranean, Italian, Latin, French, Korean, and Michelin Star Seafood restaurants. After 10 years of professional kitchen settings, I was presented with an opportunity to teach private cooking lessons. I coached and trained chefs from all cooking levels. From junior home cooks to master chef book camp courses with the Wounded Warrior Project.
