Charity showed up with a big smile and went to work preparing a delicious meal, from appetizer to dessert. Her meal service was excellent and timed well. She cleaned up and departed, leaving everything in good order.
A delightful experience. Each and all of our guests complimented us on the evening.
Chef Charity Kingsley and Jason were phenomenal! This was a special event since it was my husband’s 40th birthday. Charity has the sweetest personality, and anyone who hires her will not be disappointed. The food was delicious, and they left my kitchen sparkling clean.
We had a wonderful experience with Chef Kingsly and her assistant. The meal was wonderful and the experience of their sweet spirit was a wonderful treat. We would use her again when we come to the area.
Hi There…
I am Chef Charity and I am a zesty, sweet and sharp individual who adores people and finds value in connecting with others. My personality is hospitality. I get instant gratification from the satisfaction of others. Whether it’s preparing a meal that takes you back to your childhood, or bringing a fresh set of silverware before the next course; I value the process of hospitality and culinary service.
My hospitality and culinary career began when I was 15 years old working for my mother’s event planning and catering company. She taught me the importance of time management, organization, budget, and customer satisfaction. Setting a table, assembling a bouquet, and preparing food in bulk was so natural to me. Attending culinary school was a no brainer move.
I was 17 years old when I attended Culinary School at Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, North Carolina. There I was trained by elite Chefs. I learned cooking technique, knife skills, kitchen law, and the science of baking. I remember being in the middle of class having flashbacks. Flashbacks as a child standing on a chair in the kitchen with my grandmothers cooking her recipes and thinking…”My grandma taught me this!” It was at that moment I knew I was on the right path.
I have worked in restaurant kitchens with self-made Chefs that worked their way up from dishwasher, to line cook, all the way up to executive chef and from them I learned food styling, speed, and consistency. The restaurant industry is not for the weak. I have been burned, cut, over heated, and out-cooked; but I wouldn’t trade my adversities for anything else in the world. It is truly what molded me into the Chef I am today.
At 22 years old back in 2018 , I started a Hospitality and Culinary Service business that is still running today. From a dinner for 2 to an event of 200 guest I have the ability to provide food that is impressive and service that is unique to each individual. I take pride in my delivery and devotion.
Again, I am Chef Charity and this is just a little into my passion for food and people. Food unifies, and sharing is caring. I thank you in advance for the allowance of serving you and your guest. Let us gather around, make a toast, say grace, and lets eat!!!!
