We take pre-payment to secure your chef and simplify our service. No fumbling with payments after your event or dealing with multiple payments in different stages of the process. Much like our service, our return policy is simple and meant to protect you, our hosts and our amazing Chefs. -One week or more before your event we guarantee your refund. -During the week of your event we offer a 50% refund. -We will not be able to refund within 48 hours of your event. At this point your chef has not been available for other bookings and has already planned for your event. *Please note all refunds are less processing and booking fees
When clicked, each menu has reviews toward the bottom of the page. You may also click the chefs profile photo to see all of their reviews and specialties. FFK also has many reviews on Google, Facebook and Yelp. Every host is contacted after their event and encouraged to leave a review on the menu they've chosen. Whether good or bad, each review is posted and ONLY moderated for inappropriate language.
We've conveniently added a choose your menu later option for each course. You'll see these listed at the top of each course. If chosen, you'll have up to 7 days before your event to make selections. To select, log in to your host dashboard and simply choose each item from the drop down menu for each course.
We accept payment in full to protect the chefs and hosts with our cancellation and refund policy. There is no risk as every payment is insured and guaranteed. For your safety, please do not transfer money outside of the website or app as it would not be insured. It’s very important to read reviews on the chef and any company you make purchases with online. We only accept credit cards which are by far the safest form of payment online.
We protect our hosts from Chef cancellations, each chef has been verified, vetted and background checked, and each payment and event venue is insured.
The "Starting at" price is for entrees. We require entrees and after, each course is OPTIONAL. Since entrees are the highest in price, we use the entrees price to assist in filtering menus to fit your budget. The pricing is "Per person" and not necessarily per plate. Any course ordered would need to match the number of guests attending. If you're ordering for a party of 10, you'd choose up to TWO entrees totaling 10. Then, up to TWO appetizers totaling 10, ONE soup, ONE salad, and ONE dessert option. Our "Smart Order System" will guide you through the ordering process, it is impossible to make a mistake.
Yes, every chef has a Message feature on each menu. We also offer customer service to our Chefs as a benefit of the platform. Please use our chat. We have a 99% success rate in answering most questions.
