Not just her food, but the space she held in the kitchen. We knew that she was arriving after a very long drive and yet, she walked in and got right to work. She was kind and approachable and patient with the kids who wanted to watch her work. Her food pleased everyone. One member of the party even said, “I think this was the best meal of my life.” Her salmon was a crowd pleaser with its delicately crisp skin, tenderness, refreshing flavor. The entire meal was perfectly seasoned. We would, without any doubt, welcome Chef Brittiney back into our kitchen or hire her for an event.
Such a perfect elegant yet cozy touch for my Dad’s retirement party. Chef Brittiney was very kind, able to have fun and her food was impeccable. A true treat! She helped us customize the menu to our needs. Everyone was raving!
My only criticism is that the host she brought with was not very personable and took away from the overall experience. She may not always partner with this person, but her poor attitude was noticed by the majority of us which says something.
Chef Brittiney is a self-taught chef with a farm-to-table background and a focus on elevated Southern comfort cuisine. From early morning harvesting to picking fresh chicken eggs and making everything from scratch, her culinary experience is rooted in lived experience, having learned the foundations of cooking from her grandmother.
Chef Brittiney has worked her way up through the ranks in the culinary industry. Starting as a Chef de Cuisine, later holding the title of Executive Sous Chef, she is now the Culinary Director for a boutique hospitality firm specializing in personal chef, bartending, full-service catering, and event management. Chef Brittiney has achieved many accolades in her career, including winning the Chef Battle: Charleston and Chef Battle: National’s Runner-Up in 2019, receiving bragging rights for the entire year. In addition to her expertise in Southern comfort cuisine, Chef Brittiney’s abilities extend to a wide range of cuisines, cultures, and plating styles.
Absolutely! All our menus are fully a la carte. Once you’ve decided on a chef, you’ll see a list of all the dishes they offer and you can choose the ones you’d like for your event.
You pay a fixed price per guest based on your menu, plus a small, all-inclusive booking fee to our platform. You’ll be able to see exactly what you’re paying when you make a booking. No hidden costs, ever.
As many as you like! Although for events with over 30 people, we ask that you reach out to us to make an event inquiry.
That’s absolutely fine! When finalizing your menu, please mention these under ‘Special Instructions.’ For instance, you can specify that you’d like to accommodate one vegan guest and one gluten-free guest for your at-home catering and your private chef will prepare suitable dish variants for those guests.
Yes! You can make any changes to your booking. You can even cancel it up to a week before your event, and you’ll receive a refund.
Yes, it is. Our service includes full insurance for your private chef in case of any mishaps.
Each chef is fully vetted. We require at minimum one year of sous chef experience. Your chef has gone through an FCRA compliant background check and multiple interviews before joining our platform.
We take pre-payment to secure your chef and simplify our service. No fumbling with payments after your event or dealing with multiple payments in different stages of the process. Much like our service, our return policy is simple and meant to protect you, our hosts and our amazing Chefs.
