He cooked on a nuclear submarine and completed an apprenticeship at the Pierre Hotel in New York City. He manned the stoves at the Bellagio, the Atlantis, the Delano, Le Bernadin, and Charlie Trotters. He was also the personal chef to Leona Helmsley, aka, The Queen of Mean. Additionally he taught future generations of chefs as a Chef Instructor at the Culinary Institute of America.

We hired chef Otto for my Mom’s 60th surprise dinner with our family that flew in from Los Angeles. It was AMAZING! The food was outstanding, Otto was so relaxed and easy going with all the chaos of 6 children, and everything was cleaned up and perfect when he left. HIGHLY recommend – this experience was such a treat!
We used Otto recently for a joint birthday celebration and it was fantastic. Amongst us were some avid amateur chefs who wanted a night off but to learn some more tricks from a professional chef. A personal chef seemed like a great idea to do this so we could all relax and enjoy a night off, have the kids watch a movie and pizza and we get a fantastic meal without having to go out. We selected our menu, included allergy and dietary requirements and Otto did the rest!!! We were staying in a beach house so you never know what a kitchen will be like and he gave us all the reassurance in advance that he would take care of everything and he could manage in any kitchen. The experience was just wonderful. Otto was so friendly and shared some tips and techniques on how he prepared meat. He was interactive when we wanted to chat to him and our kids loved seeing him working away. Every course was amazing and it really made me feel special on my birthday. I would highly recommend Otto. He is quite inspirational and the whole experience really makes me want to do it more often with friends. Especially after a long day at the beach when you don’t want to go out but want a higher end dinner this is well worth it.
