Katie, a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu Scottsdale started her career at Elements restaurant in Paradise Valley AZ 18 years ago. She worked her way up through the ranks to becoming pastry chef and then Chef De Cuisine before moving to Aspen Colorado to take over the Executive Chef position at Bbs Kitchen. From Bbs she moved to the Low Country to help open Tavern & Table on Shem Creek. Katie has had the opportunity of battling on Iron Chef American , cooking at the James Beard House, and cooking at the Aspen Food and Wine Festival. Her global take on American standards is what sets her apart!

Bucket list worthy!

After always being the one to do the cooking it was really wonderful to bring Katie in and treat us to her awesome Asian inspired food. The whole process was easy from scheduling, picking a menu, implementation and clean up! It made for a nice time with special friends.

A wonderful relaxed dinner with Kate Murdock

Kate arrived on time, brought all her own utensils and began to cook our meal. All I had to do was set the table. We loved watching her cook our delicious meal and answering questions about her life and career. After dinner she had the dishes, etc. washed and dried. It was the easiest dinner party I have given. Everyone had a wonderful time and I was relaxed and enjoyed the experience immensely. I would highly recommend this chef and experience.
