FFK’s online platform markets the skills of accomplished chefs in cities across the USA, reserving private events with food-loving clients. Our chefs are the foundation of all we do. They create a la carte menus according to their Specialities. They set the prices. If you need a more customized menu, they work with you to tailor menu items to your specific needs.

When you’re ready to book, visit Food Fire + Knives to enter your location, date, and time. Then select from a roster of local chefs. Next, you’ll choose from their specialized a la carte menus. In less than 48 hours, you’ll be tweaking the menu to your preferences with your culinary professional. Then, all you do is open the door to your chef, fully-loaded with food, equipment, and cleaning supplies. Your chef even leaves your kitchen spotless!

Meet Our Team

Michael Casciello

FOOD FIRE + KNIVES is the vision of co-owner Michael Casciello, a classically trained chef whose culinary education began at age 14. After college, Casciello attended the renowned Culinary Institute of America, where he worked alongside certified master chefs. He had a desire to bring fine dining to private homes as an on-demand service. In addition, he wanted to provide an alternative for creative and inventive chefs who wanted a better work-life balance outside of the traditional restaurant environment.

Kim Gandhi

Kim Gandhi began cooking at 8 years old with a love of food driving her to experiment with her Hispanic and German heritage. She gained a BBA in Marketing and turned to the business world for much of her career. Her strong customer service background and her passion for great events that involve chefs, customers, and amazing food allows her to indulge in her love of cooking and enjoying what FFK chefs bring to the table.
