I first fell in love with tapas years ago during a trip to Spain. We strolled along the streets of Sevilla late night, popping into different tapas bars for a glass of sherry or cider and a quick plate or two to share. The colors and flavors of the food are clean and bright, highlighted with garlic, sherry vinegar, and pimentòn (smoky Spanish paprika) and punctuated with flavorful bites of chorizo and jamòn. What better way to eat than family-style, from colorful dishes filled with briny olives, garlicky impeccably fresh seafood, perfectly cooked vegetables glossy with Spanish olive oil, and divine morsels of smoky cured or seasoned meats, all accompanied by a loaf of crusty bread.
These entrees are meant to be served family-style, to be shared in the Spanish tradition. Mix and match the three tapas options (Sea, Farm, and Field) to your taste, and add in the Tapas Sides, a Paella, or an assortment of Pinxtos as you like. Best for groups of 8 or more guests.
This menu is easily accommodating of guests with gluten and dairy allergies, vegetarians, and vegans. Please inform the chef of any dietary restrictions when booking. Custom cocktails are also available by request (I bring the mixers and the bartending skills, you provide the booze!).
We so enjoyed Chef Julie’s Spanish tapas menu for our large family!! I looked at several chefs and menus, and I chose her Spanish tapas menu so it would be a little different and unexpected. Our group of 14 adults all loved it!! It wasn’t too spicy but it had lots of flavor. The chorizo stuffed mushrooms and the apple crisp were huge hits as well!! I highly recommend Chef Julie and her lovely assistant Kathy!!
