Chef Klaus was delightful! He shared interesting stories about his career and everyone found him charming. That was until he served the food he’d prepared, and then everyone saw him for the consummate professional that he is. The food was plated and garnished beautifully, tasted incredible, and dishes quietly removed from the table after each course. Chef stayed in touch with me during the weeks prior to the party and he made planning the menu fun. If he suggests salmon on the menu, say “YES, PLEASE.” My husband and I do not like salmon so I chose something different, but Chef was insistent that we’d like his salmon dish so much that he brought a sample that my guests scarfed right up. If I could always have salmon prepared this way I’d eat it every night. It was divine! Chef cleaned the kitchen before his departure and filled the dishwasher. In a word, the dinner was perfect. Well, except that we all ate way too much. Thank you, Chef Klaus!!!
