This menu was designed as a “thank you” to my Southern upbringing. Although Filipino by heritage, I was born and raised in Charleston. I started my culinary training there, and also have spent a lot of time working in the city’s top kitchens, as well as in Savannah and Atlanta. The dishes are classic Southern dishes but what is unique are the different flavors and twists I have incorporated over my career.
Chef Val was fantastic to work with . He contacted us ahead of time and was able to accommodate all of our dietary restrictions. He presented each dish in both an educational and professional manner. All of our guests were clients and they enjoyed a first class experience and delicious food. His bread pudding is the best I have ever had.
