This specialized cuisine spans the northern reaches of Pawleys Island southbound to Georgia’s Savannah River. It is traditional and highly specific to this eighty mile stretch of coastline. Named so due to its low elevation, hence it is rich in seafood and rice, a major agriculture commodity. No trip to coastal South Carolina is complete unless you have dined on these Dixie delicacies. If you desire to savor the flavor of true local cuisine while in South Carolina, this is authentic regional fare.
We were celebrating our 20th anniversary and looked for something special. Chef Otto Borsich fit the bill. He shared life stories, cooking tips and presented us with delicious food. It made our day so memorable and exciting. A night we will always remember!
We were very satisfied by the entire experience! The food was absolutely delicious and service impeccable! I surprised my husband for our 33rd anniversary by arranging this special treat. He loved it and so did I! I would highly recommend Chef Otto and his lovely wife to come to your venue/home and give you an experience to remember. 😍
