Julie prepared a delicious meal for a very special occasion for a relatively large group – 13! Everything went very smoothly, and she was the perfect professional balance between engaging and making us feel comfortable. We all enjoyed the meal immensely (particularly the gumbo with freshly caught monkfish/shellfish)! Thank you, Julie!
Fantastic dinner for 8 prepared by Chef Julie Biggs at our home for the week at Isle of Palms for my moms 80th birthday celebration. Our appetizers of Pickled Shrimp Deviled eggs & Charcuterie Board that was placed around our living area were absolutely amazing!! She then served Crispy Country Ham Arugula Salad to all guests. The main dish was Pan-Fried Fresh Flounder over shrimp chowder broth, bacon, corn,potatoes. Our seafood negative family had temperature appropriate NY Strip Steaks, a cauliflower/potatoes mash, and haricots. It was all excellent. Julie was quiet, efficient, and attentive chef. Best of all, the kitchen was spotless when she left! She even wiped down the oven and burners!! It was spotless. This is definitely something we will do again on our next trip to Isle of Palms. We will be requesting Julie, of course!!!
Julie and her assistant Kathy did a great job on my parents 40th anniversary dinner for our group of 9. The food was delicious and it was so nice to relax and not worry about cooking or cleaning! She even printed out menus for us on my request at the last minute. Would definitely use her again!
