Garden Party!

This was my first time having a chef cook in my home – and Julia and her partner Hector delivered an experience that exceeded my highest hopes for the night. From post-booking communications (perfect) to arriving on time, to just having terrific and soothing personalities, I felt very comfortable. Then the food happened and …. WOW. Having Julia and Hector plate with care, describe each dish, time the meal to let us really enjoy every fantastic bite…. and THEN LEAVE MY KITCHEN SPOTLESS??????? 10/10 and I never say that. THANK YOU THANK YOU for making our anniversary dinner an experience to remember,.

Fresh clean yet complex flavors comprise each dish.

The cauliflower is mind-blowing. The risotto was an elevated comfort food which was a crowd pleaser. And the radicchio salad was my personal favorite, with a complex and exciting mix of crunch and smokiness,

We had an INCREDIBLE experience with Julia and her fiancé Hector. We hired them for a low key bachelorette weekend and wanted to have a private dinner at our Air BnB. We couldn’t have asked for a more amazing night! When we decided to go with the Garden Party menu, we weren’t sure if we’d miss having meat since none of us are actually vegetarian, but the meal was incredibly hearty and tasty. We went with the cauliflower soup (which we are still still talking about – it was like velvet), roasted carrot salad (amazing), white bean ragout (flavor bomb), and the grapefruit dessert, which was unlike anything we had ever had. It was an incredible meal and Julie and Hector were wonderful company as well. Incredibly polite, accommodating, and beyond talented. One of our friends was gluten free and they made everything to accommodate everyone. I would HIGHLY recommend them for a private dinner, supper club, girls night, celebration – any excuse to have them cook for you. We will absolutely be hiring them again!
