We’re going to have some fun with traditional Southern & BBQ flavors, but still hold on to what makes this great classic food so comforting to the soul.
Chef Brandon is as much an artist as he is a chef. He cooked for 7 of us on our first night of our vacation, and he set the bare high for the rest of it! We selected 4 courses and each was more innovative, creative and artistic than the previous. We tried two appetizers, each of them a 3 selection tasting portion linked together by a common theme: burgers and raw seafood. Although something like burgers might seem common, his were anything but! He used creative ingredients to weave intricate flavor combinations to create what is more of a play on the word “burger” than a true burger. We were wowed right from the start. To say they were spectacular is nothing short of the truth. Even dessert, a course that many private chefs plate without much finesse, Brandon made a true masterpiece. The likes I have only seen in the best Michelin star restaurants or the highest ranked restaurants in cities we have traveled and dined in. Brandon was personable, communicative, very accommodating to dietary needs and his food was a true joy to experience. I highly recommend his as a chef who can elevate any dining experience.
