Regional French Inspired Dishes
This was the third meal that Graham prepared for our family of 15 while we were on vacation in Asheville. Our meal started with a choice of an incredible Lobster Bisque ( my favorite) or a beautifully presented arugula salad complemented by homemade pickled veggies. We had selected two entree choices: Poached Salmon or Grilled Duck Breast with a cherry gastrique. Both were delicious but the duck was just spectacular. We finished our meal with a silky creme brûlée which was the perfect ending for our meal.
I can’t say enough about how wonderful it was to work with Graham. He is very friendly, very accommodating and a true professional who clearly takes pride in his work. We will definitely be hiring Graham the next time we are in Asheville!
We booked Graham to cook for our wedding reception with a total of 16 guests. From first booking through the wedding evening, we had the most lovely experience. Before booking, Graham called me to talk through all questions and concerns that I had. We walked through the menu options and how the night would look. He had a wonderful professionalism about him but mixed with good fun. The night of the event, he brought a second hand, Thomas, who was just a wonderful. They cooked and prepped everything while we were able to sit back and enjoy the evening. The dinner was one of the best I’ve ever had with everything timed perfectly. They were courteous of guests giving speeches and toasting and chatting. They were truly a great team.
We could not have been happier with booking through Food Fire + Knives and we could not thank Graham and Thomas enough for such a lovely evening. They really did make our wedding reception the most special experience and better than I could have asked for.
