Chef Rosenblatt prepared an exquisite meal for a surprise date night I planned for my girlfriend. He went above and beyond what I expected with the beautifully planned out meal and service. The appetizer was a butternut squash hummus topped with pomegranate seeds, sunflower seeds, and micro greens served with pretzel thins, cucumbers, and a cranberry chèvre. The hummus was creative and absolutely divine. Next was a soup and salad course. The cream of chicken soup was rich and had beautiful flavor with homemade croutons on top. The salad was super fresh with a variety of greens, grapes, tomatoes, onions, candied walnuts, and a homemade lemongrass balsamic vinaigrette dressing. The main course was Brown-Butter Reverse-Seared Ribeye, drizzled with hollandaise, with garlic-sautéed haricot verts and chevre pommes puree, over a bed of merlot jus. The ribeye was cooked perfectly and had so much flavor. The combination of everything together was moan-worthy. The dessert was an “Upscale Ice cream sundae”. It was so much more than that. The Grilled banana, vanilla bean ice cream, fresh whipped cream, Cherry compote, fresh caramel sauce, powdered sugar, fresh mint, and walnuts all together was heavenly. I was so full by this point, but there was no possible way to put my spoon down. It was, by far, the best meal I have ever had at any upscale restaurant. On top of this, he provided great service. I had set up a beautiful area outside for us to eat, and he brought everything out to us, poured out wine, and made sure we did not want for anything. Chef Rosenblatt excels in an environment where he can create and works well with the customer to ensure his creations align with any dietary preference and exceeds expectations.
Chef Rosenblatt served as personal chef to celebrate my engagement to my fiancée. He prepared a delicious, personalized, three-course meal that was better than anything you could get in any restaurant. Chef Rosenblatt went above and beyond to make the occasion feel special, and his passion and creativity really shone through in his cooking. He is an amazing and inventive culinary mind, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. Trust me, you will want to be able to say you’ve eaten his food before he becomes famous.
