Buon Cibo, simply translates to “Good Food.” As you may or may not know, this menu is devoted to honoring the beautiful country of Italy. I received the majority of my Italian training when I lived in Providence, RI, under a Chef whose family restaurant spanned close to 40 years. I’m unsure if the the restaurant is still there, but the knowledge I gained has lasted over time. All pasta presented on this menu are made from scratch. This meal will be served with basket of rosemary focaccia. Buon Appertito (“Enjoy your meal”)!!
We traveled to Sea Pines for the week after Christmas with another couple with a total of four kids. We wanted to have a nice restaurant quality meal in our house (with no clean up!) without having to deal with taking the kids out. Val delivered! We had the artichoke soup to start, bruschetta and mussels for apps, salad and then a wonderful mahi over butternut squash purée finished with a tasty dessert! Val was professional, courteous, prepared and an excellent chef.
Food Fire and Knives made the whole process easy to book and plan.
Definitely recommend Val and this platform for booking.
Chef Val was wonderful in helping me plan my 50th birthday in Savannah. He was able to create a Seven course meal in which we had wine pairings to complement. He was very flexible and easy to work with. On the day of the event, he and his team of two helpers were great and made the evening a memorable experience. I would definitely recommend!
