Buon Cibo, simply translates to “Good Food.” As you may or may not know, this menu is devoted to honoring the beautiful country of Italy. I received the majority of my Italian training when I lived in Providence, RI, under a Chef whose family restaurant spanned close to 40 years. I’m unsure if the the restaurant is still there, but the knowledge I gained has lasted over time. All pasta presented on this menu are made from scratch. This meal will be served with basket of rosemary focaccia. Buon Appertito (“Enjoy your meal”)!!
One of the most amazing meals my friends and myself have ever had! I booked Chef Val Domingo for a Bachelorette Party surprise and man did we WOW the bride! The food was honestly incredible and the experience was something you have to do at least once in your life. Val arrived right on time and brought everything he needed to prepare the meal. He prepared everything while us girls got ready upstairs and we were shocked at how quick the preparation time was (we were a tad late coming downstairs). Chef Val waited patiently for us and then served us the most delicious meal. He explained in detail each meal and its origin and then cleaned up EVERYTHING afterwards. 10/10 would recommend booking him if you are in the area! We will surely book again when we come back! Thanks Val!
We traveled to Sea Pines for the week after Christmas with another couple with a total of four kids. We wanted to have a nice restaurant quality meal in our house (with no clean up!) without having to deal with taking the kids out. Val delivered! We had the artichoke soup to start, bruschetta and mussels for apps, salad and then a wonderful mahi over butternut squash purée finished with a tasty dessert! Val was professional, courteous, prepared and an excellent chef.
Food Fire and Knives made the whole process easy to book and plan.
Definitely recommend Val and this platform for booking.
