Appalachian Flavor

We booked chef kearsley for a bachelorette party and absolutely loved the experience. She came very prepared and was quick to acclimate to the house and kitchen. We ordered appetizers, salads, two different dinner courses and a dessert. Each dish had a complexity in preparation yet delicate in flavor. All the food was locally sourced to the area which was a major deciding factor for us in booking the right chef. She was so incredibly kind and we could feel her passion for what she was making.

How she went above and beyond:
We couldn’t find where the outdoor trash was located at our rental house (it was dark) so she even took the garbage with her when she finished so we wouldn’t need to worry about the next day!

A few bits of feedback, when we discussed over the phone ahead of our dinner she did ask if there were any “non-negotiables” for some of the food because she does shop local markets. I mentioned the dessert we chose, the Applechai crumble, was something we wanted to keep because it’s the brides favorite. This did change to a berry crumble and it was absolutely delicious, but not what we discussed originally. This could have been a cross in communication. lastly, we wish we had told her ahead of time we wanted to keep the leftovers! We all loved the food so much we wanted to dive back in after a few more hours of celebrating.

No question this was a 5 star dinner from a 5 star chef. Her warmth and kindness made us feel like we knew her for years. Thank you for the experience chef!

Chef Kearsley prepared the most delicious meal for the 10 of us to celebrate my sister!

Not only was the food incredible, but she was so attentive to food restrictions and letting us know where food was sourced from. She was like a magical fairy feeding 10 people and then cleaning everything up in a snap!

I would HIGHLY recommend Chef Kearsley to anyone looking to have delicious food prepared for a group.
