"Local, Fresh, and Fun"

Having grown up in the Lowcountry, I have a deep appreciation for the abundance of local seafood and produce available to us here in Charleston. Whenever possible I try to incorporate these items into my menu. Inspired by the many local celebrity chefs and the food of my childhood, I try to express my love of all things southern in my food. But I haven’t always lived here. A while back I moved to Jackson Hole, Wyoming where, after working at several restaurants, I ended up as the Executive Chef of the fabled Old Yellowstone Garage. At OYG I gained an appreciation for Italian cuisine and discovered that the Italians are just as proud and protective of their local food traditions as we are in the South. I am back in Charleston now and enjoy working as a private chef with Food Fire and Knives. Perhaps the biggest attraction to being a private chef is the interaction with our clients. Unlike when I was running restaurants and stuck in the kitchen, I get to engage our clients. I love to answer questions and help to expand their culinary knowledge. SPECTACULAR MEALS

We had Chef Ed twice during our vacation in Seabrook and he was simply outstanding! From his unbelievable fresh fish to the most tender filet I’ve ever eaten, his meals were truly amazing. He is also such a charming and charismatic Chef that you feel like you have known him for years! Given the COVID 19 situation, it was so nice to have a 5 star meal in the comfort of our home. What a fabulous experience!

SPECTACULAR MEALS!
