Planned a Bachelorette party for a client. Chef was on time, representatives from FFK were professional and helpful. Chef answered all questions without hesitation. Client stated that food was excellent, presentation was great. Clean up, set up, was done. Place was cleaner than how they arrived. I will refer Chef Drew to other clients.

Chef Drew made our gathering one we will not soon forget. Our parents’ 70th birthday dinner went off without a hitch and the food was fabulous. Fan favorite gnocchi and the salad dressing was delicious. So much food we sent our friends home with their leftovers! We would certainly have him back again!

Chef Drew cooked us an amazing meal while our family was on vacation. We have a saying that “sometimes you gotta put a little wow in your life” and that’s exactly what he did! Our meal was cooked perfectly and the flavor was out of this world. I highly recommend Chef Drew!

We had Chef Drew come out to our vacation home on Isle of Palms and cook dinner for us. Every part of the dinner was delicious! He was very friendly and able to accommodate some dietary needs we had. He also made separate kids meals for my kids which I appreciated! It is so much easier to have someone come prepare a gourmet meal at your own place rather than drag the whole family (especially with little kids) out to dinner, and if we return to the area we’ll definitely hire Chef Drew again!

Chef Ed couldn’t make it so we had a lovely dinner by Chef Drew. We had a bachelorette party for 6 and the dinner was absolutely perfect. We are from the west coast so it was amazing to enjoy the local cuisine and Chef Drew did a wonderful job explaining the history and background behind the meal.

Had Chef Drew over for my wife’s birthday dinner at a beach house rental on Isle of Palms and it was better than I could have ever imagined. I wanted to treat my wife to a great meal without the hassles of going out to dinner with a large party and two children under five. Chef Drew was timely, organized and the food was spectacular!!! Drew created a incredible experience for 9 girls celebrating my sister’s Bachelorette. He was super accommodating with regards to menu planning and communication was super easy. He was so friendly and enjoyable to chat with while cooking and we really liked being able to chat and watch him prepare the dishes. When we were being served the dishes, he gave a detailed overview of all the ingredients and their origin as well as the preparation process. All of the guests were so impressed with the food. We had an amazing dinner with chef Drew! The gumbo was incredible- best any of us had ever had. It’s obvious that Drew has a passion for cooking and it shows in the presentation of every course we were served. The mahi mahi was super fresh and prepared perfectly and the cream brûlée was a delicious finish to a great night!

We did the Italian dinner with Chef Drew last night and he was FANTASTIC! Everything was beyond fresh and delicious! He was highly personable and created the most incredible experience for us! As a new mom of a 3 month old baby (during a pandemic as well!) it is tough to go out to restaurants. We will absolutely be booking with him again!!

Our group had an amazing time at Food Fire + Knives! There were 9 of us, in town for a bachelorette weekend, and we contacted them through their website about two weeks ahead of our requested date. Michael was able to accommodate us and find us a kitchen space to rent for the class (we were in a hotel without a kitchen to use). Chef Drew was phenomenal, and his assistant was lovely and sweet as well. They worked with me on the menu and were very willing to make substitutions for certain food allergies and preferences. They also spent a significant amount of time with us helping us to actually learn the methods for the cuisine of choice. Overall this was a great experience, and I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for private cooking lessons or a personal chef!

The chef, Drew McGarity, was a very personable and funny and also engaged with us and answered all of our questions. The owner, Michael Casciello, responds quickly and is very nice over the phone. Highly recommend!! We chose a Japanese cooking class and made Miso soup and sushi, also with a wine paring. It was so much fun and delicious. Drew was fantastic, easy to work with and talk to- can’t wait to do it again!!
